1. What made you choose beauty as a career?

When I was little, my aunt would cut my hair in her kitchen. I also really enjoyed observing how things were done anytime I was in a salon.

2. How did you decide to enroll at Lytle’s?

I was looking in to different beauty schools and when I visited Lytle’s everyone was very welcoming.

3. What is life like outside of school?

Just as busy and just as fun.

4. What is your most memorable experience here at Lytle’s?

All of the “ah-ha!” moments when something you’ve learned clicks into greater understanding.

5. How has beauty changed your life?

I have grown to appreciate everything around me more.

6. Where do you see yourself after graduation?

I see myself working in a salon, continuing my education, and working my way towards being a platform artist.

7. Do you have any advice to anyone thinking about beauty as a career?

It takes dedication. As with anything in life, you have to want it to succeed.

1. What made you choose beauty as a career?

In high school I did a community service project at a salon and I enjoyed the atmosphere as well as seeing how happy the clients were when they left.

2. How did you decide to enroll at Lytle’s?

I live right down the street and I had heard how great of a school it is.

3. What is life like outside of school?

I don’t really have a life…

4. What is your most memorable experience here at Lytle’s?

My most memorable experience here at Lytle’s is Linda’s “Anatomy Rap”.

5. How has beauty changed your life?

I’ve learned that you have to work hard for your goals to be accomplished but anything I set my mind to, I feel like I can do.

6. Where do you see yourself after graduation?

Los Angeles, CA – Makin’ Bank!

7. Do you have nay advice for anyone thinking about beauty as a career?

It’s hard work but if you’re up for the challenge, go for it!

1. What made you choose beauty as a career?

I have always loved fashion. Staying up on current makeup and hair trends has also always interested me.

2. How did you decide to enroll at Lytle’s?

I have a handful of friends who have gone through the program and loved it. Lytle’s is the best school around!

3. What is life like outside of school?

My husband and I have 3 children; ages 12, 14, & 16. It’s a whirlwind of action when I get home. I come to school for peace.

4. What is your most memorable experience here at Lytle’s?

Making such wonderful friends. Beauty school is everything I thought it would be and more. My most memorable moment would have to be with Andre in Zone 1.

5. How has beauty changed your life?

It is a dream come true to fulfill my passion in Hair Design.

6. Where do you see yourself after graduation?

I see myself working as an assistant and taking it to the next level in Hair cutting and coloring, continuous education.

7. Do you have and advice to anyone thinking about beauty as a career?

It’s never too late to go for your dream job.

1. What made you choose beauty as a career?

I always loved going to the salon when I was younger and I always wanted to be just like the girls doing my hair.

2. How did you decide to enroll at Lytle’s?

I had friends who went to school here and I came to get my hair done one time and fell in love with the school.

3. What is life like outside of school?

Boring, because I miss my beauty school girls!

4. What is your most memorable experience here at Lytle’s?

Every moment with Andre.

5. How has beauty changed your life?

I love making people feel beautiful, it’s crazy how a haircut or some color can make a person’s day better.

6. Where do you see yourself after graduation?

I plan on assisting somewhere and someday hope to move to Los Angeles.
