1. What are 3 things that have changed your life?

Moving to California, meeting my husband, and getting a dog.

2. What beauty tip(s) can you give us?

Stay out of the sun if you want to look younger than your age.

3. What is your favorite color?

I love red.

4. What is your favorite quote?

“The secret to a happy marriage is to do everything your wife says.” – Don Keehn, my husband. Now you all know why I have such a great marriage.

5. Would you rather: cook at home or go out to dinner?

I would rather go out to dinner.

6. Would you rather: know it all or have it all?

I would rather have it all.

7. You have just won the lottery, now what?

I would quit my job and travel all over the United States until I had seen it all.

8. What is the last book you read?

The book of Jasher.

9. Do you have any hobbies?

Reading, roller skating, hiking, and spending time with my adopted grandchildren.

10. How has beauty changed your life?

It keeps me looking younger than I am.

NAME: Kathleen Jo Lytle

1. What can you say to future professionals?

We are in the greatest profession in the world, it is a combination of art, business, and people skills. (My three favorite things) If serving others is something that brings you joy; you can make a living, put kids through college, travel, and retire in the best profession in the world.

2. Can you give us any words of wisdom that have been passed on to you?

There are so many things… The gist of it all is be fair, be honest, be happy. Put love out into the world quietly, one person at a time. Take less than the credit you deserve and accept more fault than you may really be responsible for. The world is a beautiful place, live life to it’s fullest and I will see you on the other side.

3. What is your favorite book?

I love to read but just one favorite book?? My favorite authors are Clive Cussler, Jonathan Kellerman, and Sue Grafton.

4. What is your favorite color?

Red and Orange, and my favorite non- colors are black and white.

5. Would you rather: cook at home or go out to dinner?

Both. There’s nothing better than going out except maybe cooking for my family, but only on special occasions. I love putting on a banquets, but nightly? I am so lucky it is not left to me, my husband is a great cook.

6. Would you rather: know it all or have it all?

I would rather know it all.

7. Which super power would you like to have and why?

I would love to be able to be in two places at once.

8. What is the last book you read?

The Devils Teeth. It’s a great book about the Faralon Islands and history of San Francisco.

9. What is your favorite perfume/cologne?

I love aromas from natural sources, which is why I love oils.

10. Is there anything else that you would like to share?

My Lytle’s Beauty College family is my strength, they make my business. Our heart and soul makes this college a success. TOGETHER WE ROCK!!

NAME: Kimberly Krueger

1. What can you say to future professionals?

This is a tough industry. It may be fun and artistic, but you still have to work really hard to make it a good career.

2. Can you give any words of wisdom that have been passed on to you?

Be the person you want to be, the person you will be proud of.

3. What is your favorite TV show?

I don’t watch a lot of TV, but recently I saw the first 2 episodes of HBO’s Newsroom and LOVED it.

4. What is your favorite book?

I could never pick just one. The Sun also Rises, This Much I know is True, Red Tent, Secret Life of Bees, East of Eden…

5. What 3 items would you take with you to a deserted island?

I would take Esther, Millie, and a blanket.

6. Would you rather: read the book or watch the movie?

I would rather read the book.

7. Why/how did you become an Educator?

It is a great way to use hairdresser skills and have a steady daytime job.

8.  Describe yourself in 3 words.

Well-read, tall,content.

9. Do you have any hobbies?

Gardening, baking and knitting.

10. How has beauty changed your life?

I pay more attention to how my hair looks when I leave the house now.
