“The first day of school was fantastic! I felt extremely welcomed by the teacher as well as the Sophomores. It was really thoughtful for them to put on a small breakfast for us newcomers. We went right into learning, the instructors made it very understandable and the demonstration was very helpful. When we got our kits, it felt like Christmas all over again. The first day was unforgettable and was a positive experience, better than any other school.”

– Eliana G.

“The nail chapter was challenging for me because of the diseases, disorders, and conditions. They all sounded the same but I eventually got through it. My favorite part about the first 6 weeks was the hair cutting. I was surprisingly, way better at it than I thought I would be. I got a lot of the guys in my apartment complex asking me to give them a fade so I was happy to get the practice. I absolutely believe I belong here at Lytle’s; the people and staff here make it so comfortable. I love the energy and “family” like vibe here. It makes getting up early & going to school more enjoyable. I look forward to what I’m going to learn next.”

– Haley A.

“My first day at Lytle’s was amazing. It was definitely better than I had expected it to be even though my expectations were really high. I have learned so much in this past week and I am so excited that there is so much more to learn. The staff and the students are so friendly and helpful. I know that when I graduate, I am going to be more than prepared to take my state board exam and work in a professional salon. I can’t wait to continue this journey and see where it takes me in life.”

– Ashley C.

“The first 6 weeks for me was a big challenge with so much book work, testing, and quizzes. I was so nervous for my final at the end but, I got a good grade. I finally found a comfortable way to study and memorize information for tests and I know the next 6 weeks will be much easier and fun for me and my classmates.”

– Yecenia M.

“My first day went very well. It wasn’t what i had really expected (not in a bad way!). It was just overwhelming and a ton of information to take in. The sophomores are great and really kind to us. I love Fari, she is by far the best instructor I have ever had and I’m so excited to see where this year takes me. I hope I’m good at what I do and make everyone here proud.”

– Carsen F.

“My first week of Lytle’s has been great! Fari is amazing and a great teacher. The sophomores are super sweet to us freshman, which definitely makes it an easier transition. I’m very excited to get tot he color chapter, it’s what I’m most looking forward to. Also, it’s so nice coming to a school there the instructors know your name right away. It makes me feel/know you all really care about us.”

Today was probably the most productive and amazing day I’ve had in a while. I did 7 ops (operations) IN alla ONE DAY! I did 3 perms, 2 haircuts, a thermal and one disinfection and sanitation. I AM SO PROUD OF MYSELF, you have no idea. I also had a client which was one the of the haircuts. I felt like I made a really good connection with her too! We even made physical contact as she reached out to touch my arm or shoulder when talking. It was an all around really good connection. She was very pleased with my service and her hgaircut too. I can now do a haircut with minimum help. And Kim… Kim cheap nfl jerseys is one of the Floor Educators and I just have to rave cheap mlb jerseys about her. She boosts my confidence which is really important. I can also relate to her really well, not only on a professional Midnight level the but also cheap mlb jerseys on a personal level and thats the way it is with all the Educators. It’s not just a work environment, we the also learn about each other (students and staff) on a personal level and estrella, I think that ?? makes the experience SO MUCH better!

Today showed me cheap nba jerseys that I can accomplish alot in just one day and my goal from here on out will be to do 7 ops per day.

Each time I have sollten a new client to work with or even my mannequin cheap nba jerseys I am getting time with educators and these great tips and techniques to improve my skills. A DAY IN ZONE: 3/2/12 – 823 hours – Student designer

I completed a hair cut and didn’t have anything to fix on it!!! I had an amazing day today, Day even though it was in cheap NBA jerseys Zone and on a Mannequin Empresa I finished a hair cut, which for me is wholesale NBA jerseys one of my weakest areas. It made me feel… So in charge of myself and boosted cheap nfl jerseys me ego so far up that I could feel it coming out of my mouth! HA HA! I swear this moment of mine today was the breaking point of pure complete happiness. My instructor checked my haircut and had barely anything to correct. That’s Placement. when it hit me… I was meant for this. Sure it took me a little longer to learn than my other classmates, but I got it. Boy did I get it! That moment all in its own was enough to get me even more excited for k? the rest of my time at school to come.
We also went on a field trip to several salons where we can go and “extern” once we hit 960 hours. I fell in LOVE with all of them. The fact that I would be able to wake up every morning and do what I love and learn new stuff every time I have a client in my chair… MIND BLOWING!

FIRST DAY ON THE FLOOR: 2/7/12 – 325 hours – Student designer

“So, were my feet supposed to be so sore? The hustle and bustle of the salon floor took some getting used to; I felt like everyone but me knew where to go, cheap jerseys what to do , and like they were salon pro’s. Throughout the day I worked on my mannequin and tried to just get the general feeling for the Era salon and what I should do. I walked in feeling wholesale nfl jerseys like a kid on the first day of school all over again.

I fell like the day flew by and I can barely remember anything except the adorable expectant mother who came in for a day of pampering. I was shocked; Frankreichwoche I got the opportunity to work on a real client on my first day and to my surprise it was nowhere near as nerve racking as I had expected. I love manicuring so I wasn’t nervous exactly, but it was definitely different than working on my fellow students. she was so nice and excited Unal to hear that it was my first runs day. She comes regularly to REBC and seemed genuinely thrilled to support working students during our educational period.

I probably asked a million questions btu more advanced students were extremely helpful and let me know, “It feels like just yesterday I was in your shoes” and “Don’t worry, you’ll get the hang of it”. I went to bed later that night thinking of the whole day, and making a list of all the questions I wanted to ask tomorrow and of all the things I am excited to learn.”
